Presidency High School offers path-breaking internship programs for young adults to explore opportunities in the field of teaching, training and education. Earlier this year, we had two interns – Srija and Mahi from the USA into our Primary School.
The Students of primary school expressed that they had a wonderful time with the two international interns. Srija and Mahi are Class 10 graduates from a prominent school in the USA, wanted to explore rural India in the sphere of school education. They worked in our school for a couple months and got engaged in various teaching activities.
“They both helped well in improving spelling and reading skills of struggling students in my class through innovative approaches during after school remedial classes”, thanked by one of our english teacher. “Mahi assisted me in downloading media for ICT classes and helped to add new applications into our media learning curriculum”, shared an ICT teacher.
From all the students and staff of PHS, we extend a big thanks to both of them and hope they have a great future ahead!
