Yendala Soundarya, the prominent hockey player from Nizamabad, who represented India in the International Hockey Tournament was invited to our school. She shared a few magical and inspirational moments from her life.
On 29th June 2017, Ms. Soundarya visited our school in between an overwhelming welcome from the students during assembly. She was felicitated by the Principal with a memento and shawl as a token of love.
“Her life is very inspirational. Even though, she was born in a middle class family from Nizamabad, Soundarya had the ambition of becoming a good hockey player against all odds”, said a Class VIII student. “I like the way she transformed hurdles to strength and resolved all obstacles, I will also strive hard to reach my goals like Soundarya”, a Class X student exclaimed.
We hope Soundarya’s inspirational story might have motivated our students to have dreams and create their own path to chase them.
