Holiday destinations with kids

Summer’s approaching and that can only mean one thing: Holidays!

Your kids have worked hard through the year and they definitely deserve a break. Holiday tours and travelling can also help them explore and understand the world around them, which is very important for growing kids. But, we understand how difficult it can be for you to get a leave from work. That’s why we have compiled some of the best holiday destinations and ideas in India for you:

  1. Kerala: This beautiful place is definitely heaven on earth! From Fort Cochin to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, kids will have a great time learning about the heritage of this place. Don’t forget to go on a day trip to the serene backwaters there!
  2. Munnar: The hills and the wildlife sanctuaries are extremely attractive at Munnar. The place is ideal for the whole family because it allows soft trekking that kids can easily enjoy. Plus, the surroundings are simply splendid. Make sure you take your kids to the tea museum there so that they learn about the process of tea brewing.
  3. Jaipur: The pink city is full of heritage and culture. It is colourful, bright, and so vibrant that the whole family will have fun riding camels, street shopping, and visiting the historic monuments that Jaipur is home to. However, you must note that Rajasthan is a desert state and summers can be very hot. If your kids are sensitive to heat, you may want to postpone the trip to the winters. If not, be sure to take all necessary steps to avoid inconvenience due to the weather.
  4. Corbett: If your kids love animals, the Jim Corbett National Park is the place to visit this summer. It has been rated as one of the best holiday destinations for kids because of the array of activities that one can engage in.

If you aren’t able to take a long holiday, you can spend the weekends with your kids at resorts or farmhouses closeby.
