28th March 2018 brought a wave of mixed emotions to Presidency High School as we celebrated Volar Del Nido. A Spanish phrase, it can be translated to Birds are ready to fly away from their nests.
We bid farewell to our 10th class students on this day as they are now ready to fly away and establish themselves as recognized members of the society. Class 9 students hosted the party wonderfully. It started with a song and then everyone played fun games. After that, teachers and students came together to express and share their memories at the school. We saw tears and laughter, all entwined into a beautiful whole. A colorful dance performance by class 9 students drew curtains on the event.
A few students and teachers shared their thoughts during the event:
Manoj, Doves, said, “Every good thing must come to an end and my school life is not an exception. Thanks for all the memories.”
M. Akash from Sparrows, said, “I never expected that I would end my school life in this way. It is lot more awesome than I thought.”
One of our teachers, Mrs. Rajitha shared, “This is not just another batch leaving the school. This batch is one of the batches, which I will remember forever!”
T.V. Rao Sir had a great piece of advice to give: You don’t have to run. Don’t even walk. Just crawl but never stop moving in your life.
We hope all our students see success and happiness in their lives. All the best to each of you. May you reach the skies!
