Students from classes 4 and 5 entertained their parents during another successful fun evening at Presidency High School.
Students researched interesting facts about India, Egypt, Kenya, France, Mexico, and Japan. The children practiced traditional dances from each country, researched popular foods and even learnt some of the different languages.
The Presidency teachers helped the children come up with fantastic ideas to help them improve their understanding of different cultures from around the World. Children were busy all week in class and after school.
Sara Jackson, a curriculum volunteer from England helped organise the evening and said, “These parent events are a fun way to show the families what the children have been doing in class” Sara also said that “These performances are a great way for the children to perfect their speaking and presenting skills, it’s not easy to stand in front of hundreds of people, but the Presidency kids were amazing”.
