“Leaders aren’t born, they are made. They are made by hard effort, which is the price which all of us must pay to achieve any goal which is worthwhile” said Vince Lombardi Jr. (a veteran soccer player and coach). To nurture leadership skills of our students, we conduct a program called SMILE (stands for Social – Motivation – Integrity – Leadership – Emotional skills) integrated into our curriculum.
We are done with the first quarter of the program, where we had sessions on different topics of the leadership skills like Empathy, Conflict resolution and Environmental consciousness. The impact speaks development of our future leaders. Some of our students shared their thoughts about the SMILE program with us, “Before I used to hate pet animals like dogs, I used to hit them, but after attending SMILE, I was able to show love towards them, understand their pain and suffering”, says Ch Deepak on being Empathetic.
“Now-a-days I’m able to control myself and improve relation with my brother through simple techniques”, Dev Agarwal shares his experience about Conflict Resolution.
We hope students will continue the good development in their attitude and personality thereby emerge as great leaders in near future and carry a ‘SMILE’ in every moment.
