What’s better than spending time at home? Spending time organizing things!
Well, that was the theme of our Family Fun Time activity for the month of February. As usual, all of us were excited to see everyone working enthusiastically to do a good job during this activity.
We took the initiative to give children a sense independence. Organizing activities also generate memories that kids cherish for a long time. Alongside, this helps kids focus better in life.
A parent was so happy to see her kids at work. She said, “My kids have started looking out for organized spaces at home like closets, shelves, and shoe racks, and they are trying to organize them. This is a good program started by the school and it benefits children.”
Another student went one step ahead and clicked before and after pictures. He was himself enthralled at how much change he was able to bring through the activity. He said, “I clicked before and after pictures to show how well I did the job. I enjoyed a lot!”
Due to all the chaos and disorganization kids generate, they usually forget books at home or at school, they leave their clothes on the floor or on chairs, and misplace numerous important things. When kids start making organization a part of their daily routine, it becomes easier for them to concentrate.
Safiuddin from class 9 shared his experience, “I am enjoying this month’s Family Time. My family members would always shout at me that I am not being organized but due to school’s initiative and support I am trying to be organized at home and all my family members are supporting me.”
Akash was super excited too, “My mom was proud of me because I was trying to be organized. I felt the hard work and patience of my mom when I was cleaning up my messy room and I decided that I will always help my mom in her household chores.”
Imbibing good habits at a young age is the key to a successful future, which is why we always come up with such engaging activities at Presidency High School.
