The academic year is coming to an end and PHS decided to close the curtains with a supremely creative challenge for all the kids. As usual, the challenge had some education in it, helping kids learn the science behind the flying of an airplane.
Kids were to make planes with 5 two-rupee coins in them, which made it very interesting. The planes that flew for longer would win.
While the Helicopters seemed to be doing very well when the competition began, the Einsteins were quick to take the lead. They ended up winning this lovely challenge.
The reason why this competition was conducted was to encourage kids to think, experiment, and understand; enabling them to learn through experience.
Ravi Sir said, “I was supporting Einsteins and they won in the finals, I was really glad to be a part of Einsteins.”
Sripadh Vallabh of VIII Darwins said, “We felt very happy to take part in the airplane challenge. Even though we lost the challenge, we are not sad.”
The enthusiasm among all the participants was infectious with everyone cheering and having fun. The next challenge is going to be bigger and tougher for all of us: the final exams!
Let’s hope all our kids outperform themselves this time and come back with beaming smiles next year for more fun, more challenges, and many more events!
