Olympic Day is celebrated to spread the message about being active and to learn about the many Olympic values of life. On 23 rd June, the entire city of Nizamabad celebrated the Olympic Day Run.
16 students from every section of class 9 from Presidency High School participated in the Run this year. It started near Usha Prasad Multiplex where other VIPs also gathered including the District Collector and Mayor. We saw participants from many others schools in the city as well.
Students ran from the theatre to the Collectorate ground where a small program was organized for the participants. The VIPs and delegates educated all of us about fair play, sportsmanship, respect, and perseverance.
All the students at PHS learned important lessons during the day and we hope we conduct many such team-building activities in the future as well.
