Hope you are familiar with the BANANA’S Day. It is a great initiative by the Presidency to develop the habit of reading books in students. It was held on 23rd July 2018 with a great joy.
Students came to school with a great enthusiasm along with a book and banana or any other fruit. Students read a variety of books like geographical, Panchatantra, fictional, historical and many other books. Students were really blinking their eyes towards the books. “BANANAS” itself refers to Books Are Nice And Necessary And Super.
Vaishnavi of 8th Flamingoes said that she was very glad to be a part of BANANA’S Day.
Ravi sir from Maths department said, “This month BANANA’S Day was really good and nature was also supporting the students to read books peacefully.”
Vinod sir from Hindi department brought a book and sat along with the students and enjoyed reading it and also enjoyed having a banana with all the students set a superb example.
We believe that BANANA’S Day is essential for students to develop the habit of reading books. We think it brings a change in our students.
