It could be other than Children’s Day! The family of Presidency has conducted another big event in our school – FUN CARNIVAL.
This event was conducted on the 14th day of November, to celebrate our Jawaharlal Nehru’s birthday or better known as Children’s day.
It took place in Presidency High School. It’s the second big event after ARTiculate, which took place earlier in our new campus on 14th and 15th August.
Students’ feelings are quite fascinating. “I’m really excited about Fun Carnival. I can’t wait to visit and play the games of tutors,” said Aishwarya of class VIII Seagulls, before the event took place and she was obviously excited.
“The games were really interesting. I was going deep down into the game. I was totally concentrating on my game. It really involved me a lot,” said many students from classes VIII and XI. “I won few games and I got to know that balance and concentration is important while playing the games.”
The photo booth was amazing. The pictures that were placed in the photo booth were attracting the students like flowers attracting honey bees.
The highlight of the event was a ride on the Bullock cart. A traditional way of transportation i.e. Bullock carts was arranged in the school so that the pupils could recall and experience the past. Students were highly excited to travel on it. Some of the students expressed their compassion towards the meek domestic animal saying to give it some rest and water.
The other highlight of the event was a skit performed by our teachers. It depicted the scene of a notorious class and exhibited the naughtiness of the students in their class.
“I liked every sir’s acting, but I found Suresh sir’s dialogue very funny. Overall it was awesome,” said Ganesh of class VII.
Every teacher was very happy by seeing the students’ faces. We can easily understand this by the statement said by one of our teachers – I and my children enjoyed a lot by playing the games, everyone loved our games and enjoyed it with a lot of energy levels.
The event “Fun Carnival” has been a grand success, the Presidency Family conducted the event very happily and it resulted as per their thoughts and hopes. The motto of conducting this event was to boost up the children, instead of making them read always. It’s an occasion of enjoyment both for teachers and students.
Waiting for another big event ERAS-An exploring Experience.
