Hurray! The school has started and students have come up with zeal to learn new concepts in the academic year ahead. Even parents were curiously waiting to know about our academics curriculum. Every year we conduct “Meet The Class Teacher” event at the beginning of the year, to let the parents be acquainted with methodologies, our school follows.
The event was held on our campus on various dates for Class 1 to 5. Our academic head started the session by introducing our newly appointed principal and also Academic and Non-academic staff to parents. Later, we gave a glance on list of Holiday, student and parent events at school like Banana Day, Articulate, Fun carnival mentioned in the academic calendar of Handbook. Later, the school weekly schedule was discussed
The session was continued by English teacher, focusing on different aspects in English like Spelling list, Journal writing, Raz kids, Descriptive writing, Story writing, Compare and contrast which helps children to polish their speaking, listening, reading as well as writing skills.
Then come to Math and science. Talking about math, we use Alpha Math according to their grade levels, which helps to strengthen a child’s analytical skills. Coming to science, we take them from unknown to known facts.
In our school, we correlate English and Science subjects. We advised parents to help their children while doing homework. We grade children based on the performance in all the aspects.
To give good learning experiences we take our children to Field trips. Parents were enthralled to see our activities like Swachh Bharat, Student of the Week, Remedial program.
One of the parents shared her view on MCB, that this app is really supportive to check homework, send concerns and to track bus. We are glad to receive a concern from a parent saying that this event is helpful to discuss with the class teacher in a good atmosphere. A Parent of a newly joined child expressed her views saying that her daughter started talking in English at home after joining in this school.
We hope parents understood our curriculum and expect that they would cooperate with us throughout the academic.
