Often we come across distinctive rocks in our daily life. Various kinds of precious rocks exist in the world of nature. To make our winkies aware of few rocks, we took them to Manikanta Marble store.
“Rocks” being part of the subject in Class two, we took initiation to show them different kinds of rocks. Kids were excited to know about the visit to tiles store. They observed the different types, colours and textures of stones like marble, tiles, limestone, granite. They curiously collected a few rocks which were present there.
“I would like to use black granite when I build a new house”, one of the students elated to share his feelings after visiting tiles store. Few children shared that “We want to make a stone jar with diamond, slate, pebbles, quartz and sandstone”.
Kids enjoyed collecting rocks and were joyous to see various types of tiles. We hope that students learnt about the existence of different kinds of stones and their characteristics.
