The world is surrounded by living and nonliving things. Living things can grow, eat, breath, reproduce and move. Non Living things exist in nature or made by living things according to their necessity. To show the existence of different living and nonliving things around us, we took our children to a garden in Narsingpally.
Kids were thrilled to see various living things like animals, birds, insects, plants and non-living things like rocks, pond, wet mud. They noticed the difference between living and non-living things. They also saw nests of birds, burrows of rabbits, peacocks.
One of the children observed keenly and said, “I observed that Rabbit and Tortoise both are animals, both have 4 legs but rabbits have fur whereas tortoise has a shell”. It was an exciting trip, where students noticed many things and had a lot of fun. We hope such trips encourage children to learn more about the presence of things around us.
