Presidency High School students were challenged to reuse a plastic bottle and turn it into a functional or fun item. There first task was to put their ideas down on a diagram and try to make their invention at home.
Some of the creations the students came up with included, money boxes, water purifiers, flower pots and drinking cups. Subject teacher Martin Langford said, “Some of the ideas were outstanding, we are faced with a real problem regarding the amount of plastic we are using and throwing away” Martin also said that “The students ideas were so creative it shows the high standard of pupils we have here at PHS”
