Presidency High School offers paid employment opportunities for overseas teachers. This is a unique experience to live and work at a rural school in India. Previous employees have acted in a number of roles including, class teachers, curriculum writers, lesson planners and sports coaches.

Seeing the gradual differences that suggestions and techniques make. For example, I have started a reward system for Class 1 and 2 behaviour and the teachers have said that it has really helped to motivate students. Leading workshops on behaviour management and mentoring teachers has been really rewarding. Seeing the teachers try my suggestions and talking about the benefits has been great. They are really appreciative of any help.

Working at Presidency High School has been the most beneficial experience in my teaching career. I have been able to challenge myself in a number of ways and the dedication from the students is a credit to the school. Everyone in Nizamabad was so friendly and helpful and wanted to show off the best of their town; the food, wildlife, culture and hospitality were some of the best I have ever experienced. Nizamabad was perfectly located to explore India with great bus and rail links, and Hyderabad International Airport was easily accessible.
I would definitely recommend working at Presidency for anyone looking for a unique experience of teaching abroad.
