On Saturday, Presidency High School students put on a fantastic Maths Fair. Now it’s the turn of the Primary School pupils to put their friends and family to the test!
Throughout the week Class 1 to 5 students designed games, made equipment and manned the stalls on Sunday that were visited by hundreds of parents. “Children were busy today giving instructions to parents about how to play the games, there was a lot of encouragement and the children were enthusiastic” said Pramodhini, maths teacher for PHS primary school.
Presidency prides itself on the fun events that they put on for the children and their families, and this ‘To infinity & Beyond’ has been a great success. Putting on an event such as this gives the children something to focus on throughout the week , Pramodhini said. “Many children were interested to take part and were very happy and felt proud. They practice how to deal with parents and how to find solutions.”
It was a fun way for the children to learn and for the families to see all the hard work and even test their own skills. Pramodhini finished by saying “Maths is important in every field, this is the subject that has no limit of language and is used all around the World.”
