Students at PHS let their hair down on Saturday for some New Years Eve fun at the annual fun fare. Teachers marshalled the games and great fun was had by all throughout the various activities.
Students were challenged, tested, humiliated and courageous throughout the games and were allowed to leave their uniform at home and wear whatever they liked. Students had fun playing and competing in balancing acts, giant snakes & ladders, target shooting, dressing up and many many more!
Students were treated to free healthy snacks, and one PHS student said “It was a great day and I had so much fun” he went onto say “I loved the dressing up in the maths costumes, it was so funny”. Another student said “We had been looking forward to the fun fare all year, I enjoyed the elastic band target shooting and trying to balance the coin on my head, everyone was so happy”.
Even the teachers got in on the act and competed against the children, one teacher said “The fun day shows the great relationship the students have with us teachers, it was like one big family having fun on New Year’s Eve”.
