Tutor Time Challenges

Presidency has added excitement for the coming academic year for its students by introducing TUTOR TIME CHALLENGES. The students of classes VI to X will be challenged every month. The class which performs the best in the whole competition wins the challenge and gets the first prize.

The first challenge the students were given was to build a tower using only newspaper and plaster. The class which built the tallest tower won the challenge. Students used their creativity and performed really well. Class-wise winners were announced after a couple of days and the winning classes got an additional games period added to their timetable.

The second challenge was declared open from 25th March 207 to 20th April 2017. This challenge is environment friendly. The students were told to collect as many plastic bottles as they can. All of us are familiar with the ill effects of plastic. People generally dispose of plastic and this leads to environmental pollution’s as plastic never degrades. Animals lose their lives as they eat plastic without knowing its consequences. This challenge is given to spread awareness on the problems caused due to the unchecked disposal of plastic. To win this PLASTIC CHALLENGE all the classes should try and collect the highest number of plastic bottles. The collected bottles will be sent for recycling by the school.

The head boy of Presidency-Manoj Tomer expressed his views as,” I personally enjoyed taking part in these challenges and I enjoyed the aspects on which the challenges were organized. It is an appreciable effort from the management.”

A small initiative is required to bring a great change in the society, we hope that this small initiative will turn out to be successful.
