Together we make a family – Presidency family

Family Fun Day was celebrated on 2nd September 2018 at the Presidency High School Everest Campus where families of all the staff members were invited and had a get together with lots of fun and created cherished memories.

The program started with Khan Sir, Jagruthi ma’am and Archana ma’am, academic coordinators of all the campuses receiving the guests.  Then Abhiroop and Bhavika escorted them to the spacious music room where there was a PowerPoint Presentation by Krupa sir.

Then the guests played the games conducted by the students. The enjoyed the games. There were indoor as well as outdoor games. It was really worth watching spouses of the staff members participating in the games.  Most of them preferred outdoor games to the indoor games.

Separate games were arranged for children.  After playing games, they were shown a movie.

The volunteers managed the event so well.

The presence of many guests filled enthusiasm in the minds of Presidency Family members.

There was a session from 1 pm to 2 pm allotted for lunch. There were many special items. The food was so delicious. The items for lunch were pakodi, puri, cabbage pickle, yam curry, paneer, sambhar, biryani rice, papad and curd. The sweet served was “Double Ka Meeta”. Everyone enjoyed it.

Primary school {Nilgiri Campus} teachers performed the dance on many songs. In the middle Anand master, the dance master, joined them to dance. The crowd cheered the dancers a lot. Then High School {Everest Campus} teachers performed a play. The story was extracted from Tenali Rama Stories. They changed the characters to represent a famous Hindi movie ‘Sholay’ and performed the skit with Gabbar being the centre of attraction. The members of the skit were Vinod sir, Raj Kumar sir, Shravan sir, Chandrasekhar sir, Ramakanth sir, Pavan sir, Venkatesh sir, Suresh sir and Sharath sir. The funny character of the skit was of Vinod sir.

In the end, the management conducted Tambola game for the guests. The winners are as follows:

  • The first-row winner is Ravi sir.
  • The second-row winner is Kavitha madam.
  • The third-row winner is Yamuna madam.
  • Bullseye winner is Shravya mam.
  • Houseful winner is Chandrasekhar sir.

The winner of houseful was even Shamantha ma’am, Principal of Presidency High School. But, she refused to take the gift. The management gave prizes for children who have won the games conducted for them.

The experiences of a few guests are as follows:

  • Rajitha teacher said, “We did not expect this much from the management. Naturally, in the view of a head, all the staff members are just workers, but we are happy that ma’am considers us as a family and i.e. Presidency Family.”
  • Other teacher explained, “Before the event, we thought that we will just eat lunch and go. But after coming here we were amazed. We did not expect this much from the management.”

It was really a great effort by management to bring the families of the staff members close to each other.  Of course, TOGETHER WE MAKE A FAMILY = PRESIDENCY FAMILY.

The reason why we choose Presidency school is that it has the best curriculum and is implemented in ways other school fail to. “My child feels very happy and is very enthusiastic to attend the school.

We were looking for a school with a higher teacher student ratio. The curriculum is very well structured, we are impressed with tracking the progress of pupils everyday.
