Feild trip to Vishwa Media Channel

Media is an integral part of our lives.  It helps us know more about the current situations of society, but actually how does media work?  To let the students know more about media and its functions, the students of class 7th were taken to our local channel ‘Vishwa Digitals’, Gayathrinagar, Nizamabad.  Leethu (Instructor) and Phani (Manager) received the students warmly and explained the concept.

At the reception, there were the setup boxes and the systems.  Buying and selling of the setup boxes are also done here.  There were satellite receivers which were arranged at different degrees to receive signals.  There were 6-7 boosters which were arranged in the vertical and horizontal way to receive the signals from 22-25 channels.

There was a green room, which was soundproof.  Here every recording is edited and sent to the other systems.  News recordings and controlling of the systems is also done here.  The Bharathi Digitals controls The Bharathi News, The Bharathi Music and The Vishwa Digitals.

“It was an innovative way of showing local media, job, their works and work profile and the efforts they put behind the screens.  I felt very happy to be a part of this field trip,” said Ravi Kiran sir.

“It was a very nice field trip.  We have learned about how media works, the technology used, the way people do hard work, and the way the setup box works,” said Sai Teja of 7th Helicopters.

It is really the hard work media people do behind the screen, which makes the channel run in a successful way.  This was a field trip which helped the students gain knowledge about the media and the way it works.  Students liked the field trip a lot and they understood the topic ‘Understanding Media’ in a better way.

The reason why we choose Presidency school is that it has the best curriculum and is implemented in ways other school fail to. “My child feels very happy and is very enthusiastic to attend the school.

We were looking for a school with a higher teacher student ratio. The curriculum is very well structured, we are impressed with tracking the progress of pupils everyday.
