It was all fun and frolic visiting an agriculture field to watch the plant growth. We took our children to fields to observe plant growth and how much time a crop needs to harvest.
Children were overwhelmed by seeing fields and were crazy to step in. They noticed how seeds are sown, the way leaves spring up, finally the crop which is ready to harvest. They even examined Agricultural machinery which is used in cultivation right from ploughing till harvesting.
“How do you protect crops from insects” was a question to the farmer, by a student. They even curiously asked about “What different problems do they face during cultivating a crop and How many crops do they yield in a year”.
We hope such trips give exposure to our children regarding plant growth and farming.
