“Pure water is the world’s first and foremost medicine” as said by someone. To give awareness of how water gets purified, we took our kids to “Rainy” water purification plant in Pangra village.
“Wonderful Water” being part of their subject in Science, we planned to show them how water is filtered in a water plant. Kids noticed step by step procedure of filtering water and how impure water is sent back to the ground. Teachers explained to them the importance of drinking clean and pure water. They also saw how filtered water is filled in bottles and packed in packets.
“They are not wasting impure water, rather reusing water by sending back to the ground”, a student shared after noticing it in the plant. Few of them noticed that they are maintaining the water plant clean and neat. We hope such trips give our children the knowledge of cleanliness and purification of water.
