‘Exciting’, ‘enthusiastic’, ‘great’, ‘fantastic’, ‘energetic’,… were the feelings of students on 14th December 2019 – the day of Annual Fair at Presidency. The festive spirits of pupils, teachers and parents went high. This time the theme was – though very common, but still much needed – Health and Wellness.
Stalls, dances, songs, RJ, skits, yoga and karate performances were the major attractions. This time there were about 100 stalls. RJ was one of the special things in this fair. Shruthi and Sai Hrudaya were the radio jockeys and attracted everyone with their words and style.
Lavanya madam, parent of Sanjana from class 7 excitedly said, ‘My daughter is performing dance and she practised a lot for this moment. I just can’t wait to see my daughter Sanjana on stage. I am really looking forward to it and I really like the environment of the school. It’s joyful and colourful.’
Parents also got an opportunity to show their expertise and were allowed to bring in their unique recipes. There was an awesome response with about 50 nutritious recipes which was then shared with all the other parents.
‘This is great. AYUSH 2019 is building festive spirits in all of us. Seeing children working on their models and putting their efforts is really the happiest thing,’ added Venkatesh sir.
There was a stall about Chakras in our body. Everyone was very much excited to know about Chakras and performing yoga.
Most of the parents and visitors got a lot of information about their health. This festive season at Presidency has now come to end but this spirit will be seen in pupils, their parents, and staff for more than a week. Hope everyone has enjoyed this event a lot.
