A responsible citizen always knows about his rights and duties. People who know only their rights aren’t enough to build up a good nation and continue the nation’s development. But people who know their duties and fulfil them properly, contribute heavily to a nation’s prosperity and development. For that kind of citizens in future, it's essential for children to know about their duties from now, as they are the future of our motherland – INDIA.
On the 8th day of February, Presidency has invited Mr A. Venkata Ramana Goud, an advocate who has been practising law for the last 20 years, to educate the students of class 9th about the fundamental duties of Indian citizens.
“It was a distinguished privilege for me to give a session for 9th students of the most ideal and innovative school of the state, PRESIDENCY HIGH SCHOOL on ‘Violation of fundamental Rights and Soft skills’. Students were quite interactive and active during my entire session. My special thanks to the management and principal sir for the hospitality,” conveyed the advocate.
‘I felt the session very interactive and exciting one. Apart from rights and fundamental duties, the message; ‘fear; the biggest enemy of yours’, has really moved me. That's my favourite part of the session,’ shared J. Vaishnavi Reddy of Flamingoes.
Shreyas of Flamingoes expressed, “I know about fundamental rights, but with the session, I have known better about it and I think it's really helpful for me in future.’ The students felt amazing during the session and understood many things which they need in future for sure. By this, we can conclude that responsible citizens bring the change by starting the change in themselves first.
‘Every right implies a responsibility,
Every opportunity an obligation,
Every possession a duty.’
