The best combination for children is a book and a banana! They love eating the sweet fruit as they read their favourite books. Keeping this in mind, we celebrated the Banana Day at Presidency High School on June 18.
All the kids came to the new campus with a banana and a book, ready to explore the world of fiction. The motto of this day was predominantly to ensure that each kid reads books. Panchatantra, GK, autobiographies, and fiction books were some of the most popular ones among the kids.
Why were the kids eating bananas as they read, though? Bananas are packed with minerals and vitamins that help children improve their memory, develop concentration levels, and boost their grasping skills. This is why we highly recommend eating at least one banana every day.
“I feel very pleased that I have developed a habit of having fun with books. Thanks a lot for organizing Bananas Day,” said Hrishita from 9th Einsteins.
Through activity, we hope we have an impact on all kids to read books and to eat healthily.
